The bar, on paper.

The complete coffee-shop canon — 40+ drinks — every one coffee-adjacent, never coffee, and every one with its caffeine in milligrams. Tap 'make at home' for the substrate, or open its recipe.

Every drink pours at 0 mg. Dose it to match its coffee original — or don’t. Either way the milligrams are printed. (Synthetic caffeine + L-theanine, 2:1, up to 200 mg per serving.)

Espresso Family

Espresso is the small, strong shot at the heart of a coffee bar. Everything here is that shot — alone, or with water, milk, or cream.

  • 0 mg

A tiny, intense 2-oz cup — bittersweet and bold. The building block for everything else here.

    A single 9-bar pull of roasted barley — 16 g in, 32 g out — under a crema-like foam.

Dose to ~63 mg (≈ ≈ 1.5 Diet Cokes) to match a single shot

  • 0 mg

An even tinier, sweeter, more concentrated shot than espresso — intensity without the bite.

The short pull: same 16 g dose, half the yield, denser and sweeter.

Dose to ~63 mg (≈ ≈ 1.5 Diet Cokes) to match a single shot

  • 0 mg

A longer, gentler shot — more water, softer edges, easier to sip than a straight espresso.

The long pull of orzo — more water, a lighter, more open cup.

Dose to ~63 mg (≈ ≈ 1.5 Diet Cokes) to match a single shot

  • 0 mg

Simply a double espresso — twice the shot, same small, bold cup.

A double 16 g/32 g shot pulled into one cup.

Dose to ~125 mg (≈ ≈ a strong energy drink) to match a double

  • 0 mg

A smooth, no-milk cup — strong but not intense; the “regular coffee” of the espresso family.

Orzo doppio lengthened with hot water for a long, clean cup.

Dose to ~125 mg (≈ ≈ a strong energy drink) to match a double

  • Long Black

    0 mg

Like an Americano but bolder and thicker-topped — a strong, no-milk cup with more crema.

Hot water first, orzo doppio poured over — crema-like foam preserved.

Dose to ~125 mg (≈ ≈ a strong energy drink) to match a double

  • 0 mg

Espresso with just a spot of foam — strong, with the smallest softening of milk.

Orzo espresso "stained" with a dab of steamed-milk foam.

Dose to ~63 mg (≈ ≈ 1.5 Diet Cokes) to match a single shot

  • 0 mg

Small, strong, velvety — for when a latte is too much milk.

Equal parts orzo espresso and warm steamed milk. Balanced, not foamy.

Dose to ~63 mg (≈ ≈ 1.5 Diet Cokes) to match a single shot

  • Cortadito
